Encasing Myself in Ice to Protect Myself From a
Ice burst is an icebending ability that allows the user to encase themselves in ice. This ice bubble will protect them from any projectiles, explosions, hits, and more. After the ice bubble has taken sufficient damage, it will break. This will cause it to explode and fling ice shards everywhere, damaging enemies.
Unlocking this ability requires a tier II icebending scroll or a tier II universal scroll.
Level II
Each of the shards do more damage when piercing enemies.
This ability upgrade requires a tier II scroll to unlock.
Level III
Increased shield health. The shield can withstand more hits and doesn't break as easily.
This ability upgrade requires a tier III scroll to unlock.
Level IV
As with all other abilities, there are two choices for Ice Burst's level IV upgrade.
Aiming System: Upon shattering, the ice bubble will release ice spikes that can track enemies and damage them on contact.
Aiming System upgrades the ice spikes and allows them to chase and track enemies. This ability upgrade is recommended for icebenders who would like to use this ability for crowd control, as the tracking spikes are invaluable when there are multiple mobs.
This upgrade requires a tier IV scroll to unlock.
Hardened Ice: Increased ice bubble durability.
Hardened Ice increases the shield's durability. This ability upgrade is recommended for icebenders who would like to increase the strength of the ice shield or want a good upgrade to all the ice burst's stats.
