Pushing Away Some Pigs With Air Gust
Air Gust is an airbending ability that allows the user to release a small burst of air. It can be used to push enemies back allowing the user to focus on another problem.
Unlocking this ability requires a tier I or higher airbending scroll or a tier I or higher elemental scroll.
At level I, this ability costs 1.5 chi to execute.
Level II[]
Larger gust of air, pierces enemies and you can now push open stone buttons.
This ability upgrade requires a tier I scroll to unlock.
At level II, this ability costs 2.0 chi to execute.
Level III[]
Larger and stronger gust of air and you can now push open iron doors and trapdoors.
This ability upgrade requires a tier II scroll to unlock.
At level III, this ability costs 3.0 chi to execute.
Level IV[]
As with all other abilities, there are two choices for Air Gust's level IV upgrade.
Wind Bolt: Destroys weaker projectiles with a smaller but faster bolt of air.
Wind Bolt increases the speed of the air gust and and destroys all projectiles in its way. This upgrade is recommended for airbenders who want to use this ability to counter projectiles.
This upgrade requires a tier III scroll to unlock.
This final ability costs 3.5 chi to execute.
Wind Wall: Create a massive gust of air that moves slowly and slows down projectiles.
Wind Wall increases the size of the gust at the cost of speed. It can slow down all projectiles that it comes in contact with and pushes back enemies. This upgrade is recommended for airbenders who want to increase the duration of the air gust.
This upgrade requires a tier III scroll to unlock
This final ability costs 5.0 chi to execute.
Mechanics[]
Air Gust can be used to cool down lava, turning it into obsidian. This can be useful when crossing lava lakes.
Air Gust can be used to push wooden buttons and weaker pressure plates.
